Renew Camp is a beautiful depiction of the unity of believers seeking to love and serve the community in the name of Jesus Christ. Being interdenominational provides a unique validation of the Gospel to a broken world, but also brings with it distinct challenges.
Churches partnering with Renew Camp should be able to affirm and support the following doctrinal statements. These beliefs have, historically, maintained general agreement among all true Christians. The sole basis of our beliefs is the Bible, God's written Word. We believe it was fully inspired by the Holy Spirit and that it was written as the supreme and final authority in all matters on which it speaks.
Because of the unique calling of Renew Camp, we seek to affirm what unites us, and allow for freedom of conviction on other doctrinal matters, provided their interpretation is based on the Bible and that no such interpretation shall become an issue that hinders the ministry to which God has called us.
