HOW WILL THE STUDENTS BE SUPERVISED?

Each church that participates in Renew Camp takes responsibility for the students they are bringing to the event. Every church that has students participating must provide a full-time adult/team leader. We are committed to maintaining a ratio of at least 1 adult for every 5 students.  To accomplish this, individual churches must provide at least 1 full-time adult/team leader for every 5 students they bring. 


DO YOU RUN BACKGROUND CHECKS ON YOUR VOLUNTEERS?

Yes. We run criminal background checks on all full-time adults (and part-time adults who work closely with the students, such as our nurses or security team). These are updated every 3 years.

WHAT OTHER SAFETY MEASURES DO YOU TAKE?

We have a security team to monitor the building in the evenings and after the students have gone to bed. We keep the building locked once the evening services have begun until our breakfast crew arrives. We also keep the building locked when the students are away during the daytime.
